Rob has spent over 36 years in Financial Services both as an entrepreneur and Chief Executive (as an owner-driver). He grew his previous company from a sub £1m turnover to an excess of £60m with 45,000 clients and 150 staff before exiting in 2007.
Rob has extensive experience in corporate structuring for SMEs having trained as an accountant and he has raised tens of millions for many EIS and SEIS HMRC approved businesses many of which have gone on to listing on a public market.
In 2017, Rob co-founded William John with Trevor to further develop business strategy in and outside of the capital markets. Rob’s experience covers both the investor and corporate side of the business, and he therefore understands how to look after the needs of both. He is an experienced trader in his own right.
His responsibilities at William John cover the financial management of the business maintaining and monitoring the balance sheet whilst working with Trevor to grow the business in new markets and develop its existing services.
